i think plaxico should be punished by both the league and the law. there are rules and consequences in the league as there is in society. you break them, you pay. no athlete should be immune. however i dont think they should make an example out of him either. he is human and makes mistakes, like we all do. give him a short suspension, a hefty fine and have him do community service and talk to kids about dangers of guns
