Dallas did not give themselves the name “America’s Team.” Steve Sabol with NFL films did that in 1978 when making the Cowboys 1977 Highlight video. You are right though. Often the most popular teams are also the most hated.

The NFC dominated back then so there’s no shame in it. The Bills were awesome back then. In reality, they should have won two of those Super Bowls but its kind of like being an old Red Sox fans…gotta feel the most unbearable pain in order to appreciate a potential championship.

Yeah, but the Giants loss was still the most painful one. The Cowboys were better than us so that is to be expected but we had no business losing to the Redskins or Giants.
Being a Bills fan is the equivolent of liking to be kicked in the balls.

This is painful to watch as a Bills fan. It ***** that we couldn’t win one out of those four. It wasn’t meant to be I guess. Should have won the first one. But I guarantee that no one will win four AFC Championships in a row again.

I’ll give credit to the Bills they had a good team but they couldn’t win the big one. They arguably had one of the best 5 year stretch than any team in NFL history. But they ran into THE DALLAS COWBOYS.
